We do not use analytics cookies. Our analytics tool (Plausible) is cookieless — it collects only aggregate, anonymised traffic data and cannot identify individual visitors.

3. Why We Collect It and Our Lawful Basis

We process your reservation data to respond to your booking request and manage your visit. Our lawful basis under Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) is performance of a contract (or steps taken prior to entering into one) — specifically, processing your reservation request.

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To contact you to confirm or discuss your reservation
  • To manage your visit on the day
  • To record any allergy or dietary information relevant to your booking

We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own commercial purposes.

5. Data Processors

We use the following third-party services to operate this website. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf:

  • StaticForms (staticforms.dev) — receives and routes reservation form submissions to our email. Their privacy policy is available on their website.
  • Cloudflare Pages — hosts this website. Cloudflare may process server logs (including IP addresses) as part of standard hosting and security operations.
  • Plausible Analytics — provides cookieless, anonymised website traffic statistics. No personal data or cookies are used.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

Reservation details are retained for up to 12 months from the date of your visit (or requested visit), then securely deleted. We may retain records longer where required by Ghanaian law.

7. Your Rights

Under the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to any legal retention requirements)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

8. Controller Registration
